From May 2nd to May 4th, YCIS Chongqing was buzzing with excitement as it hosted the highly anticipated SCISAC (Southern China International Schools Athletic Conference) Basketball Tournament. This thrilling event brought together six renowned schools, including Nanjing International School, Xiamen International School, The International School of Macau, Ivy Collegiate Academy Taiwan, Hong Kong Academy, and YCIS Chongqing.

The tournament featured six boys' teams and five girls' teams, showcasing impressive skills and fierce competition. YCIS Chongqing's boys' team secured an exciting victory in a triple-overtime match against Hong Kong Academy.

The International School of Macau emerged as the boys' champions, while the girls' championship was won by the International School of Macau as well. Our girls won an amazing third place.

Sportsmanship was celebrated throughout the tournament, with Ivy Collegiate Academy Taiwan recognized as the Most Sporting Team among the boys and Hong Kong Academy receiving the same award among the girls. YCIS Chongqing's own Jeff and Yancy were honored for their fair play.

The tournament concluded with an awards ceremony and a delightful buffet for all participants, fostering camaraderie, buidling character and resilience, and creating lasting memories.
