On March 7, our YCIS Year 7’s took part in World Maths Day. With over 4 million students from 200 countries participating, our Year 7’s joined the world’s largest online maths competition. During this exciting competition, students go up against students from all around the world.
During the competition, our Year 7’s will answer mental maths questions and earn UNICEF points. These points will be converted into money that directly supports educational programs around the world where resources are desperately needed.
A live digital Hall of Fame on the homepage will track the top scoring students and schools from around the world. Once the competition has ended, medals and trophies will be awarded to the top students and schools near the end of March. Will YCIS Chongqing have a World Maths Day Champion?
