In Science class, Year 8 Learned about the electromagnetic spectrum. What is that? Well, Year 8VH can tell you! The seven colors that make up the rainbow help scientists see things we normally can’t see. Gamma Rays, X-rays, Ultraviolet Rays, Visual Light, Infrared Rays, Microwaves, and Radio Waves provide a plethora of uses, including telecommunications, cooking, and even seeing the edge of the universe!
The class had a lot to say about this exciting subject:
“This knowledge really helped me see science in a different light,” Tom Na said of the class.
“ I had no Idea how many additional and hidden colors there were!,” said Luke Cherian.
“The rainbow is amazingly pretty,” keenly notes young scientist Sunny Choi.
Some classmates notice, “There was not much magnetism at all.” They are hoping for more Chemistry next year.
