YCIS Chongqing has recently been authorised as the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School (Diploma Programme) in Chongqing, and it will begin teaching this world-class curriculum in the autumn of 2017 to incoming and returning Year 12 students.
This achievement represents not only a huge step for YCIS but also for the city of Chongqing The IB Diploma provides expatriate students with an integrated, internationally recognised and highly sought after pathway to higher education. This now allows YCIS to provide the same educational opportunities as other cities in China such as Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.
