As we approach the end of the academic year, the Parent Organization would normally organize a ‘Staff Appreciation Luncheon’ to express sincere thanks to the entire YCIS Chongqing staff for their efforts and dedication throughout the year. This year, due to the impact of the pandemic, our Parent Organization turned this ‘annual occasion’ into an even warmer and more touching event.

On Monday 7th June 2021, representatives from the Parent Organization arrived on campus very early to set up their ‘Appreciation Booth’ it was piled high with bunches of flowers and boxes of chocolates! There is nothing better than receiving a warming greeting, beautiful flowers and tasty chocolate on sunny Monday morning! It was both a happy and wonderful surprise our PO brought their appreciation from the school community to all of our staff.

When five specially made cakes arrived on campus, the staff were even more overwhelmed! Everyone on campus was very thankful that their efforts were recognized, the cakes matched the theme of the day recognizing the importance of mutual support and appreciation.

YCIS Chongqing appreciates parent involvement, and we look to build and grow our relationships in the years to come and look forward to providing various opportunities when parents can engage with us to enrich our school life. From Check Out Chongqing to the recent Uniform Exchange event, parent support is welcomed as it provides a great addition to our school community!
