On 1 Feb, several Year 8, and all Year 9-Year 11 YCIS Chongqing students competed in the United Kingdom Mathematical Trust (UKMT) – Intermediate Maths Challenge.

During this challenge, YCIS Chongqing students individually competed against students from countries across the world. All UKMT challenges focus on using mathematical ability, critical-thinking, and problem solving skills to overcome the challenging questions.

Results will come in the next few weeks and will be shared with students when they arrive. Highly successful students may be invited to further contests and have a chance at prizes and international awards and recognition.
