YCIS Chongqing aims to support the transition process for our new students by providing opportunities for them to meet new friends and teachers who can offer help and advice. On Wednesday 16^th September, our new students and their invited ‘buddy’ gathered together for a special ‘morning tea’ to celebrate and welcome them to their new school.

The new students and their buddy met together to talk about how the year was going so far, how they have settled into their new school, all while enjoying some free time to have snacks and drinks. A fun time was had by all!

“You are so brave for trying”,“You are passionate about Mathematics”, “You have made many friends”.... Each new student received a special award from their teachers in recognition of the achievements they have made so far. Kind and encouraging words will always brighten up the day and bring us positivity.

We hope that all of our students enrolled in YCIS Chongqing have had a successful transition into their new classes and wish them all the best for this academic year!
