Pink Shirt Day is often celebrated in schools during the last week in February each year. This day is used to help raise awareness for anti-bullying as well as try to find approaches to reduce bullying in our school.
Although we are all in different places and time zones, the Student Support Department wanted to find a way for us to celebrate this day through our e-learning platform as we are all facing similar challenges with the recent Coronavirus. Our Pink Shirt Day this year not only represents anti-bullying but also represents a day for our YCIS Chongqing community to remember that together we can achieve anything. Wherever we are, no matter what our YCIS Chongqing community can stand strong.
This week teachers collected photos and videos of our students, staff and their families wearing something pink, holding something pink and sharing what they are doing to support their wellness during this time. Students and families shared a range of photos in their pink attire.
