After several months of meticulous preparations, YCIS Chongqing’s third ‘Check Out Chongqing’ event finally arrived on Staruday 19^th October under beautiful blues skies.

We welcomed in excess of 800 parents, staff, students and visitors to the Sports Field, who were greeted by over fifty vendors, representing a broad range of services from around Chongqing, showcasing their products and services to all who attended.

The vendors ranged from language schools, to child training center; from restaurants to body massage; from law firms to music clubs; from dentists to sports leagues for kids. On the stage, we offered some great performances prepared by vendors and students, while guests enjoyed delicious food, games, and activities.

It has now become a tradition for the YCIS Chongqing community to gather together during the fall season when most of the new expat families have already joined the school. It is a wonderful opportunity for all our families, old and new, to meet at this annual Check Out Chongqing event, with an opportunity to gain new information about life in Chongqing, as well as exchange share their stories and experiences amongst each other. There was certainly a festive mood in the air during the event!

Without question, we extend special thanks to the entire Parent Organization team, all the volunteers, sponsors, school staff, and the school Student Council for their efforts in providing great opportunities and fun, in Chongqing, to the whole YCIS Chongqing family!
