Yew Chung International School Chongqing wish to congratulate the graduating Class of 2019 for their outstanding results that were publish on the 5^th July 2019.

Our first IB Diploma cohort achieved a 100% pass rate and an average score of 37.3 points, out of a possible 45 points. This is an extraordinary average score result when compared to the world average score of 29.78 points and 100% of YCIS Chongqing students achieved above this world average. An impressive 50% of students achieved a score of 40 and above, which is exceptional for any graduating class. One third of our students also received a Bilingual Diploma, as they studied a mother tongue language in a language other than English while completing all other subjects in English.

The IB Diploma is the most sought after qualification by universities across the globe and our Year 13 students are now preparing for new adventures at universities in the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, Netherlands. and China. We know that our students are well equipped to face the life challenges ahead and these IB Diploma results have given them an enormous head start in achieving their goals for the future.
