The YCIS Chongqing teaching team welcomed our new students and parents at the ‘New Student Orientation’ event on Friday, August 17. This was an opportunity for these students to meet their teachers and explore more of the learning environment while their parents gained insights into the learning programme and were encouraged to actively engage in all aspects of the school programme.

As our teachers were introduced, it was compelling evidence that YCIS Chongqing is truly international with teachers from all around the globe including China, United Kingdom, United Stated, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Netherlands to name a few. This diversity ensures we explore cultural differences around the globe that promotes a global mind-set.

As we begin the 2018-2019 academic year, our student body numbers in excess of 400 students from more than 30 nationalities. As a school, we have the expertise and experience to support all learners as we identify needs and differentiate the programme. We are excited to begin the new year with significant improvements to our facility that will stimulate great learning opportunities across the K3 – Year 13 programme.
