As this school year comes to an end, the Parent Organization hosted its annual staff appreciation luncheon on Tuesday Jun 18th.

In a heartwarming display of appreciation, dedicated YCIS Chongqing parents came together and generously provided a wonderful selection of delicious food and drink, served to the school staff in our Great Hall, which was transformed by the Parent Organization into a banquet hall with music, decorations and friendly volunteers happy to help throughout the day.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter as staff members mingled, savoring delicious food, engaging in lively conversation and discussing their summer plans as well as professional goals for the following year.

The Staff Appreciation Lunch served as a powerful reminder of the impact that the school staff has on the lives of the students and the community as a whole. It also re-emphasised to all of us the importance of the partnership between school and home in the lives of our students, and the crucial role our parent organisation plays in strengthening our bonds. The school staff expressed their gratitude to the parents and volunteers who helped to make this event happen, leaving with full stomachs and even fuller hearts.
