Beautiful summer weather in June saw the successful transition of YCIS Chongqing Year 6 and ECE K4. On 17 June and 20 June, the School hosted two graduation ceremonies for both Year 6 and K4 to celebrate the important milestone in their life.

Year 6

On Friday 17th June, marked the graduation celebration of the Year 6 students! Students performed various songs, showcasing their talents and gave speeches about how they have grown in the year, giving advice to their younger peers and classmates.

Each child received a graduation certificate as we reminisced on the past years of Primary education and looked ahead to the future. We wish all students the best of luck as they enter the Secondary phase of their education.

K4

On Monday 20th June, we celebrated the graduation of our K4 students. This was a moment for our learning community of teachers, families, and students to come together to celebrate and recognise K4’s completion of our Early Childhood Education Program. K4’s graduation was live streamed to parents and there was a small celebration after school to ensure that all parents were able to celebrate this important milestone.

During the ceremony, children performed some songs showcasing their bilingual talents and they all looked wonderful in their graduation gowns and hats! K4 children then received their certificates and YCIS bears from our Co-Principals Mr. Ward and Ms. Jessie Xiao.

Now it’s time to leave ECE and move up to Year 1.
