Promoting community engagement and cultural exchange as well as nurturing the next generation to be engaged and proactive global citizens is the shared vision of YCIS Chongqing and all educators. 

On June 12, YCIS Chongqing welcomed 30 visitors from CQ Liangjiang New Area Education Bureau and other schools. 

Our School Leadership Team greeted the guests in the auditorium, where they learned about our school history, mission, principles, practices, and curriculum, as well as staff team building and our organizational culture. Our guests were impressed by the unique blend of East and West influences in our learning and teaching, and by our strong Chinese curriculum.

After that, guests were invited to visit our classrooms, experiencing international teaching and learning. They were impressed by our modernized school facilities. They also had the opportunity to witness the uniqueness of our primary bilingual learning communities and student-led investigative studies in the secondary section.

The guests spoke highly of our school, especially in promoting the integration of Chinese and Western culture, and they shared their thoughts on the future international education. 

This event is meaningful to YCIS and other schools in our community, as we continue to enhance our partnerships with the wider community, and contribute to the development of education in the city of Chongqing.
