The auditorium in YCIS Chongqing was filled with joy and optimism on June 21st, as the school held its annual graduation ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our Year 13 students.
The ceremony began at 1:30pm in the school's auditorium, with proud parents, family, friends, staff, and the entire secondary student body in attendance. To kick the ceremony off, our school's small ensemble played a series of uplifting musical numbers that set the celebratory tone and had the audience's spirits soaring.
Following the music, the Year 13 graduates took the stage one by one to accept their diplomas from Ms. Jessie Xiao and Mr. Pierce Wise, our co-principals. Each student was beaming with pride, having successfully completed their secondary education and now embarking on the next chapter of life.
The graduation ceremony was not just a showcase for the Year 13 students, celebrating their unique talents and achievements - our primary school students also contributed their own impressive musical and dance performances, demonstrating the depth of talent across all grade levels at YCIS Chongqing.
After the formal proceedings concluded, graduate families and teachers headed to the Chongqing Conrad hotel for a celebratory dinner. In addition to savoring the delicious cuisine, attendees took the opportunity to wish the newest alumni well and share in the excitement of their bright futures.
