The Yew Chung International School of Chongqing hosted the 2018 Fine Arts Festival, a celebration of Art and Music in Harmony, on Wednesday, April 25 to represent the school’s Fine Arts programme.
An unforgettable day for the YCIS Chongqing community, the festival displayed students’ talent in art, musical performances and plenty of family fun.
The festival showcased the impressive artwork from Year 2-13 students. From graphite drawings, to photography and mixed media art, the incredible products of students’ artistic efforts were on full display as hundreds of pieces decked the YCIS Chongqing Great Hall and surrounding corridors.
As guests enjoyed the student artwork, they were serenaded by student performances of all types. String quartets, pianos solos, choirs, and the YCIS Chongqing orchestra were just a few of the performances on the program. The 2018 Fine Arts Festival was a beautiful day filled with art and music for the YCIS Chongqing community.
Please join us in congratulating the student artists, musicians, and organizers for their stellar pieces and performances. YCIS Chongqing looks forward to seeing the local community at the next Fine Arts Festival!
