YCIS Chongqing is proud to announce that student enrollment continues to grow and we are now 400+ students strong! With this growth brings new opportunities to expand school programs and provide improved services to our entire community. This mirrors the growth and improvements happening all across Chongqing and we look forward to growing alongside the city for many years to come.

Some examples of new opportunities that are arising as the school grows include:

• Transition to the IB Diploma program for Years 12-13 in August 2017

• The construction of a state-of-the-art, multimillion-dollar Secondary school building incorporating a Learning Communities education model (opening in the 2018/19 school year)

• More extra-curricular opportunities for all students, including international sports tournaments through ACAMIS and SCISAC memberships

• More meaningful outdoor education programs which include Secondary trips to Yangshou and Cambodia.

In addition, this year YCIS Chongqing is celebrating our 15-year anniversary! We look forward to sharing the plans for our school’s celebration with our community in the near future.
