Schools shape the world of tomorrow. Today’s students will enter various professions, some of which haven’t even been invented yet, one role we will always need to create is scientists of the future. Whilst teachers and families play a fundamental part in developing these roles, supporting and guiding students along their journey, the educational environment is crucial to enhance the learning experience.

Within the new building, YCIS Chongqing has created areas to develop practical science, one of these areas will be our two-science laboratory’s. The how’s, what’s, and why’s from childhood can fuel further questioning and investigation when transferred to the science laboratory. The overlap of real-life experience and practical science allows for the discovery of answers. Our new laboratory’s will further enhance the provision for stimulating science lessons, supporting our students to experience scientific progression first-hand, witnessing and taking part in exciting hands-on elements of our science curriculum.

The new building has allowed us to provide well-planned science laboratory’s, creating a working environment that not only benefits students but their teachers too. Teachers can feel confident in their workspace, and this is then projected into lessons, establishing a better learning environment for all.
