Learning Communities are a place for collaboration and communication. At Yew Chung International School of Chongqing, the students inspire each other to build on these important life skills.
Led by the Primary Student Council, The Primary Learning Communities participated in a Respect and Reflect Campaign for the entire month of March. The aim of the campaign was to build better people. Each week students completed tasks, such as to show polite manners, help their peers, give others praise, and communicate effectively with each other.
The campaign slogan was Your Peers, Your School, Yourself.
On Friday April 16, the Primary Learning Communities were rewarded for their efforts with a Respect and Reflect celebration. The Student Council leaders awarded the top performers in each House. Students received a certificate and pin to reward their efforts for making YCIS Chongqing a place to collaborate and communicate.
The Learning Communities also had an opportunity to thank the Primary Student Council for their hard work during this campaign, as well as their dedication throughout the whole school year.
