The First Secondary Chinese Creative Writing has come to a successful conclusion!
In late march, YCIS Secondary Chinese department held the "First Chinese Creative Writing Competition" for Secondary students with the theme of "life under corona virus". The competition aimed to inspire students to think about the epidemic, to reflect on the changes epidemic has brought from the perspective of countries, families and individuals from their own unique viewpoint.
It is wonderful that during E-learning period , students of all year levels and language levels participated in the competition, which reflects their level of responsibility as YCIS students and as global citizens!
As of April 15, we have received 63 creative works, including comics, novels, poems, diaries, interviews, news, research reports, papers, thank-you cards, etc., which fully reflect the style listed in the creative writing competition. The collected content is novel, interesting, profound, touching and thought-provoking. After several rounds of selection, 29 students' excellent works stood out and won the first, second and third prizes.
The first week after returning to school, we held a cross-grade and cross-level excellent work-sharing in the Chinese class. We believe that the students can benefit a lot from the collision of inspiration and ideas.
Thanks to all the students for their enthusiastic participation. Your growth and reflection during this process is far more than words can bear. And we welcome you to continue to contribute to the Chinese magazine!
