The news from Wuhan and wider Hubei continues to be troubling but it has been pleasing to see the numbers of new coronavirus cases in Chongqing slowing and we eagerly await news that it is safe to return to the school campus.

It has been three weeks since we launched our e-learning programme to support students’ study at home, providing a curriculum that is different in approach but continuing the great learning that would normally occur in the classroom. It has been heartwarming to read and view the positivity in our community during the e-learning activities, where some have been led by students with parents’ support, while others have required close cooperation among all family members.
