The YCIS Chongqing community were treated to another wonderful Parkour performance on Wednesday 30^th October, in the School Gymnasium.

Our Year 5-10 students, under the excellent leadership of our PE Team, Mr. Kwakkel, Mr. Wang and Mr. Benson, choreographed a mix of gymnastics, dance and drama to the beat of some classic musical choices. The La Bamba, Ghostbusters and Time Warp were a ‘blast from the past’ but certainly enabled some fabulous story telling.

Our parents clapped and danced in their seats as their children darted around the gym, springing over obstacles, summersaulting over mats and jiving to the rhythm of the aptly chosen songs. It was a fantastic night that was certainly enjoyed by all who attended.

Congratulations to all our students, teachers and our PE Teaching Team! The Parkour event is a real favourite on the YCIS Chongqing Calendar and we all look forward to the next instalment.
